Week one- empting out the House
Our refurbishment is finally starting after a good couple of years of planning.
Our last job before the builders come in is to empty out the Community House of everything!!!
after packing everything we wanted to keep, sell or give away we were left with a big pile of rubbish.
Bryan, Kain and Roman sorted it into piles of paper recycling, scrap metal, plastic recycling, fire wood, paint and general rubbish.
The pile was big enough to fill a 9 meter skip bin but with about a hour the guys turned it into one trailer load of rubbish to land fill and my car full of recycling to go to the transfer station. Not a bad start to our waste minimisation goal.
