my summer holidays

So while everyone is off at the beach soaking in the sun I have been making furniture in my garage.
Now don't get me wrong I have been having afternoon naps and taking my time out to read and laze about but I would go stir crazy not doing anything.
I made Hubby a new computer desk as his old one was too low and was hurting his shoulder and it was ugly.

Now for the new one. This is made from Rimu and Kauri I picked up for free at the transfer station.

I'm particularly happy with the legs, I love the angle with a bit of white showing. It a plain desk which is just what he wanted. It is also a lot higher than most tables or desks as he is rather tall and usually has his chair down so he can get his knees under but then has lots of leg to fit under.
